Built by someone who has sat in the room.

"A child's need for support does not stop between therapy appointments."

With over 30 years in child welfare and current Guardian Ad Litem County Director, our founder has advocated for hundreds of children in the foster care system. Guardian's Heart was born from those rooms, those children, and those caregivers who needed more.

Damon's Corner

A space built on real courage.

Damon's Corner is a quiet place inside Guardian's Heart — built for kids who carry more than their share. Through Damon's story, children find a friend who understands hard days, big feelings, and the bravery it takes to keep going.

"Even on the hardest days, Damon ran."

Damon says

"Hi, I'm Damon. Some days are hard — but you don't have to run alone. Want to hang out for a bit?"

From the people we serve

The work is the proof.

"Guardian's Heart gave our family language we didn't have before. The guides feel like they were written by someone who has actually been in our living room on the hard nights."
Renee M.
Foster parent · South Carolina
"Damon's Corner is the first place my son has felt seen. He asks to read it before bed. That has never happened with anything else."
Jasmine T.
Adoptive mom
"As a county Guardian ad Litem, I hand these resources to every caregiver I work with. It's trauma-informed, it's free, and it's deeply human."
